My name is Kenneth Collins and I'm the broker for Legacy DFW Real Estate. Ive been in real estate since 2004 when I began selling new homes with a national builder. When the market took a drastic turn in 2006, I changed gears and became a Realtor with a "big-box" brokerage. I was one of 400+ agents and I was just trying to get started. It didn't feel like I had any personal attention and I needed more guidance than was available. Fast forward a few years I learned many things and grew as an agent - thanks in large part to gracious agents on the other side of several deals and a friend in real estate. My take-away was this:
1. Always be the gracious agent that is part of the solution and not part of the problem or who adds more drama to a situation.
2. Be the broker I would wanted to work for as an agent.
